Crooked Liers-beating Up The Already Beaten rip-off, foreclosures on hurricane victims, trying to screw us out of our home

This all began on or around August 15 please forgive me on the dates this was a very horrible time for my family and myself. On around or around August 15 I contacted Wells Fargo to advise that due to the recent devastation from a hurricane Category-4 Hurricane Charley that came ashore on the southwest coast of Florida on Friday, August 13 we would be unable to make our regular scheduled mortgage payment due to damages and loss.

This call was documented and I was told yes mam we are aware of your recent devastation and plans have been set in place for you. I was advised during this call that my account would be frozen until December at which time a deferment would be processed to put the 3-4 loan payments on the back of the loan. I agreed to this and thanked the rep with the knowledge that we would not need all that help because by September we should be OK. Little did I know we where going to get hit by not one more but two more hurricanes which pounded our home, our jobs were closed for I count 4 paychecks a piece lost in income, and our home was damaged. Soon after the lovely hurricane Charley around September 5 we were hit again by yet another raft of mother nature the queen of revenge Hurricane Frances which was as big as the state of Texas — twice the size of Charley, and lastly the final blow to our unbelievable summer we where hit by the I don't think they have had enough Hurricane Jeanne made landfall just east of Stuart, Florida, as a Category 3 storm at approximately 11:50 PM EDT on Saturday, 25 September.

See my family and I live in Polk County where we were the x of Mother Nature's raft. For those of you that remember hearing this on the news we had a hurricane come in from the east and cross over Polk County and then a hurricane came in from the west crossing Polk County again forming a x for the next (3rd) hurricane to have a target. Now that we have the plot down let me get to the December 10 conversation with the so loved by consumers Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. On Dec 10 I called Wells Fargo Bank to advise that due to the delay in our paychecks for some odd reason our mortgage payment was returned by our bank I being proactive called them to let them know that this had occurred and wanted to wire the money to pay for the payment.

At this time I spoke with a rep named Frank where I was advised that they would not accept my $1500.00 payment that they would just send it back to me, I replied with a why we have never had a payment returned before it was an accident and I just want to make it right. At this time Frank became mean and rude advising me that my house payment was 3 payments in arrears and that I had to send over $5000.00 immediately or they will take my home. I stated that this can not be right because when I spoke with a young lady in August she advised me that my payments due to the tragedy would be modified into my loan and that all I would have to do is pay my regular payment in December which I am attempting to do and you are telling me that you are not going to take my money and you want my home. His reply is mam we don't care about your home we want our payments or Wells Fargo will sell your home and sue you for the balance owed.

I obviously began to cry which only made matters so much worse as I am trying to think of how I am going to explain this screw up to my husband. Well Frank decides to come around a little and set up a payment arrangement with me but only if I pay Wells Fargo $2050.00 by December end and make regular monthly payments of $1779.02 for the next 5 months to cover the regular monthly payment and some towards the past due I agreed to do this stating that I will western union $1500.00 today and western union the other $550.00 by December 29th. Well I held up to my end of the agreement I wired the $1500.00 that day and on December 29th I wired the other $550.00.

Well now to today's heart breaking story it is January 28th and I have come home to gather my bills, lock myself in a room and watch the bank account dwindle only to open what I believe is my Wells Fargo regular bill requesting a payment of $1779.02 only to find a demand for now a payment of $6,995.94 due by Feb. 2. I immediately get on the phone requesting information on this situation and after being transferred to yet the third department because I was advised that one department doesn't know what any other department is doing I am questioning the situation when I see that first my payment of $550.00 was not applied to my account it indeed was suspended I ask why a payment was suspended and not applied to my account as promised in my December conversation with Frank and was advised that the payment is being processed to return to me by mail.

I of course question why knowing that this was money owed and was advised that the payment arrangements that I made with Frank were broken due to a returned check. The same returned check that I called Wells Fargo for on Dec. 10 and told them was returned before they even knew it was returned. So I am now yet again upset and then I happen to glance to the right of my bill and see a yellow box that stated fore closure proceedings have begun and I immediately begin to cry. I can't handle the stress of this anymore so I hang up and await my husbands return home at which time I will have to figure out how I am to explain this mess to him.

Well he being the unemotional party gets on the line with a very helpful rep after being brushed off by 1 customer assistance rep where we become involved in a nice conversation about our royal shaft done by Wells Fargo. Luckily I had written the name of Frank and the date that I spoke with him down and this rep was able to read the notes confirming everything that I had previously said about the payment arrangements made. He told me they cut off my account for no reason they backed out of our deal. He advised me that I needed to immediately contact Frank at said number at 8am est. Tomorrow. My husband agreed to do so but the papers for foreclosure where filed on Dec. 21 so they say.

Hope this all irons out for us. How can a company be so crooked and allow there reps to lie to there customers or at the least unknowingly misinform there customers due to lack of training and or compassion. I would not recommend this finance company to anyone ever!
