Thompson Gas is a Rip Off and is just plain nasty to their customers!
They over charge for propane gas, 3x as much as other gas companies, and God help you if you get laid off and cant make a payment on your plan for a month! They cut you off on a Friday on purpose so they can charge an outrageous fee to turn your gas on again with in 24 hours OR you will have to wait until the following Monday to have heat again, freezing your buns over the weekend! If you lose your job and cant pay your plan amount for a month, well then you have to pay thousands in full - no exaggeration, or your heat will never be turned on again. Its happened to me 2 times in the last 8 years. They are crooks and they could care less about if your jobless and freezing in January and February. I have had to buy an electric 2 burner stove top to cook, and to boil water to bathe. Its absurd. My bill is now almost $5,000 with fees and over due bills for Dec, Jan, Feb! Who pays 5 grand for 3 months of propane gas? Who CAN? Guess Im still going to be boiling water to bathe... These guys are crooks!!
