Living in the central time zone and co in eastern has been a ongoing problem. I applied for health care policy to insure my husband and I. We were working and unable to talk durring "their"business hous. The results were they only insured my husband. Due to that factor was unable to cancel policy without he calling in to cancel. Which was a problem for my husband due to his work sitiuation. After making several attempts to cancel I talked to a representative to what I understood to cancel both policies dental @ Health on Jan 14. The policies were drafted from checking, Once again I was falsely told policies were canceled. They only canceled dental not my husbands, and my account was submitted for pmt. Forcing my husband to be late for work we canced his policy, this morning was told it would be pro-rated. We asked before Draft not to mention the incovencience of not being able to reach co. We have never received his health policy in the mail have no idea what the policy number is. I feel the policy should not go ineffect unless they receive a signed policy RETURNED BY MAIL before policy takes place. Due to the LANDSIDE of companies taking the same information ON-Line you not sure what is in place!
Lesson learned I will never go on line again to seek a quote due to horrible senario we have been finacial burden with. Being unemployed since November has definatly been taken advantge of.
