Mutual of Omaha denying claims, Mutual of Omaha poor customer service

My mother in law purchased a nursing home / home health care policy from Aetna in 1988, it was sold to Mutual of Omaha in 2001. This extremely outdated policy has never once been reviewed by Mutual of Omaha even though they no longer even have this type of policy. It is their duty as an insurance company to keep their policyholders informed, however, they never did because they didn't care about these outdated policies. Now, we are trying to find out about this policy. You can't get through to customer service, there is 60 minute wait. When you finally get to talk to someone, they have no idea about the coverage except to say they didn't write the policy originally and the only thing covered is a nursing home. The policy clearly states Home Health Care. They also do not allow assisted living benefits under the policy. They are doing everything they can to not have to pay a claim on this policy since they didn't originally write it. No one will return your phone calls either.
