Ripoff fraudulent credit card offe

On 12/17/04 I received a phone call from Centurion Financial offering me a credit card with a limit of $2000. I was sceptical of course because I am trying to build up my credit and get alot of calls like this. I asked alot of questions such as: is this a secured card? Is it a catalog card? Is it a "regular" credit card that could be used anywhere? And questions of that nature.

I was told there was a $249 one time fee and foolishly I authorized a withdrawal directly from my checking account. The money was withdrawn on 12/20/04 according to my bank. I was told I would receive the card in app. 7 days. It is now January 16th and I have received no correspondence from Centurion. No matter what time of day I call I'm put on hold and then get a recording saying that all representatives are busy and leave name and number and I'll get a call back. I've done this at least 6 times and have never gotten a return call.
I am so frustrated and embarrassed that I could be so gullable.

Help - what can I do? I'd at the least like to get my $249.00 back.
