I feel that i am also gonna be scamed by Centurion Mastercard for a mastercard that i was pre aproved for. It was for a unsecured mastercard with a $2000 credit line and i had to pay (have them debit) $249 from my checking account.
The telemarketer that aproched me said that i had been turned down by another credit card company (discover card) and my informaition was turned over to them and they wanted to issue me this card for the up front fee of $249. They said the card has no cancilation and the fee was not refundable.
They also said that i would receive the card in about 2 weeks, but the 3rd party verifier said that it would be 25 buisness days. They also said the $249 was for a welcome package containg an offer for a free cell phone and other offers along with a card holder agreement.
I fear that i will not receive the card or get my money back for the fee. That is the last time i help out a fellow telemarketer!!!
