I have banked withh BB&T for several years and have started to have problems with them in the past two years. I don't switch banks because it is a hassle but it is probably time to do so.
BB&T has selectively manipulated my account with inconsistencies and has cost me 100's of dollars in overdraft charges.
The straw that broke the camels back was when I couldn't view my account online so I called their 1-800 number. I found out later I was charged a $2.00 phone inquiry fee (interestingly I had never before been charged for using the phone to inquire) and because I didn't have the two dollars in the account they also charged me a $30.00 overdraft fee! $32.00 to check my account with them using their 1-800 number. I have used lots of 1-800 numbers and never been charged a dime. Where do they come up with this stuff?
I would like to sue this company for fraud. If anyone is interested in a class action suit please contact me and I will be happy to lend support.
