Me and my husband purchased our home in march. About two months after we moved in we recieved a letter stating that our loan had been sold to litton loan services. I was not at all happy about this because within three weeks of this happening we were recieveing phone calls all day every day from these people saying we didnt have insurance on our home and wanted us to purchase it through them for and ungodly amount. We were just starting out this was our first home.
So we sent them proof of insurance numouous times still this did not satisfy them. So I had my insurance man call and fax them again. Once that was takin care of then it started with the late payment statements and certified letters three to four times a month.
Sometimes before the payment was even due. On one occasion they said that i owed them 1,574 dollars. Me just being out on my own for the first time i payed it. Because this was our dream finally a place of our own. Then it started to be every month we were suppost to be late and they were always like pay or else. So i got to where i would send the normal payment and that was it. Then on august23 of this year i got a forclosure statement in the mail. I had lost my job and my parents were making the payments on my house. They were always on time and for the amount of the payment. My mother saves everything and has all of the bank statements. Showing where everything had been payed this had been goin on for over three years. With the harrassing phone calls and things. I had even had one of there customer service people cuse me out on one occassion.
Her statement to me was your parents pay your bills you mean to tell me in three years you havent had a job which was not the case at all but not her business anyway.
I told her that it was nothing to her and she called me a bitch. At this time they were saying that we owed 2900 dollars that i did not have and i knew i didnt owe them.
I have called them many times and asked to have copys of there records and everytime i have been refused. I have never seen any records from them. So we finally packed up our things what little we had. And moved back home with my parents.
They sent ups forclosure through the courts and we are filling bankrupcy. I have had nothing but problems from those people since i lived in my home they are still calling me and i told them that someone was interseted in buying the house and asked for pay off info and they have never sent any kind of paper work thus far and whoever i talked to on the phone basically not in so many words that since they were goin to forclose that i could not sell the house that it was there property now.
I am sad about losing my house but to litton i said good bye and good riddence...
