TD Ameritrade
Same experience as others - they refuse to pay for their mistakes and ask me to pay for that! Horrible service

I need cash so I sold out most of the shares in my account; they didn't set up my tax status correctly as resident (instead, they had me as foreigner). That costed me to pay IRS back up withholding, for both Federal and State for totally $15000, half of my total sale.

I tried to go through the issue after it occurred with TD but they arrogantly insist no further action to fix.
