I recieved a phone call on 11/30/04 from Centurion Financial Benefits. They said I was approved for a Mastercard with a $2,000.00 credit limit and there was a one time processing fee of "just 249.00" They also said I couldn't cancel once I gave them my information. They said I could cancel later on after I recieved my mastercard if I wasn't satisfied.
I asked several questions about them being legid and I told them it was kind of to good to be true to have a mastercard with no intrest rate for 3 years. I tried to search for them on the internet and they kept giving me the address of Centurion.com. Well I tried that and it never went through for some reason. Stupid me just thouhgt that the computer was acting up or something, boy was I wrong!
I gave them my account information and they told me I would recieve my card within 20-25 days. They even told me they would put a rush on this for me. Well I am so upset because I havent recieved anything. I have read other letters about this company and these people are horrible. DON'T GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE!
Almost the same thing happend to me with a place called Liberty bank. They called and promised me a Visa with 2500 limit for a one time fee of 299.99. And that I would never have an intrest rate unless I was late on a payment. Well stupid me believed them. So now I am dealing with both of these companies riping me off!
So hopefully this helps anyone out before its to late.
