I am yet another person that has been scammed by Accountnow as I have been a customer for roughly 5 years and after requesting to have money issued by Bill Pay which was never sent and I called and they blatently stated the check was not issued and then they stopped payment and then re-issued again, 2 weeks later I called back in and they once again it was not sent so I felt I had no choice and had to ask to close my account as served no further purpose. Now I was told by CS that the check would be issued in 10-14 days around Mar 20 and so I chose to call on April 1st since AccountNow refuses to return follow up phone calls, sending of emails, or any reference or ticket number to verrify and status, so when I called back in they stated nothing has been issued and they dont know whats happened so: They Apologiezed"and said they would prioritize this and make sure its issued ASAP and I would receive in 10-14 days yet again so now this company is a Huge joke and yet again all I can do is wait and then called on the 7th day into it and once more nothing has even been done with processing my check and now I have closed my account so I have no access to the funds whatsoever. I then asked to be Escalated and I immediately realized I was just be handed to the person next to them and then even called back in later that day and I spoke to another set of people that claimed they were Risk Management and Customer Service and even one claimed to be a supervisor but not one of them could or would provide me with any information on why my check was not being processed and they are STILL currently holding $9k of my money hostage. I had to try and take some deep breaths and call back on Apr 23 and demanded to be escalated to a Manager right away and they looked into my account and said, Yes we are still waiting on you to Fax in All of your personal information. I immediately got beyond pissed because this was never told to me before EVER!!! And now they are requesting that I send my Personal information to a blackhole in which I am sure I will never an acknowledgement if it has been received or if any further progress is underway and now everything about this company sounds beyond sketchy and fraudulent as I have verified repeatedly Who I am and the fact they have been willing provide me all my personal information back to me which seems many other have this same concern when all I have to do is provide a Social Security number and they will divulge all other info.
I am now left with no choice but to pursue Legal Action as this is Consumer Protection Lawyers dream come true and the fact there needs to be much more awareness and action then all of these reviews as legitimate people are getting screwed all over the place by this company and no resolutions and it appears this company is not under enough scrutiny and needs further attention and awareness.
