I live in the Texas. I have no outstanding debts of any kind that I know of. As a matter of fact, I have rebuilt my credit to very high standards in the last 9 years.
I have received 2 phone calls to my cell phone from Allied Interstate. When I called the number, I said I was returning their call. The lady was extremely rude and asked what number had she called. I told her it was my cell phone and that I needed to know what kind of company they were. Thinking it was a telemarketing company, I asked if that's what they were. She repeated (and rudely) demanded my personal information without even telling me who she was. Then, she said "You obviously don't care who has your number or who calls you" and she hung up on me.
Since then, I have found a lot of negative information about this company on the internet. After reading what some people have gone through with this company, I'd like to see them STOPPED. Can you help me? I don't know how to dispute this, since I do not even know what I am disputing or WHY they are calling me.
Any help/referrals appreciated.
