Like everyone complaining about avlis inc, i made the stupid mistake and gave my bank info to this credit card offer which seems too good to be true. But they already had most of my info so i figured maybe it was legit. Anyways, i asked them for their customer service number and called immediately afte i hung up and i kept geetting voice mail... Thats when i first knew that i had dug myself in a hole.
I immediately went online and found this site and read everyones mishap. Then i immediately call my bank and place a stop order on avlis and the exact money which they said they were going to withdraw... The next day i wasnt feeling any better that i could get rip off so i went ahead adn transferred my money and closed my bank account because if they have my account info they could take as much as they want, maybe even after the 30 dys which the bank stop order lasted.
I feel like ive been violated and although they gave my nov 29th as the date which they will take the money out my bank, today is the 28th and im still uneasy, because the also have my ss# and address etc.
I hope they get caught and get dealth with to the full extent of the law.
Im so sorry for you guys on here that actually got ripped off. I cant even imagine how you must feel, because you money is actually gone.
