I went to Oklahoma to work. While i was gone, i found out that my house had been robbed. Called the cops. Then the insurance. Was told by the adjuster over the phone that he had been by the place and noticed that the windows where boarded up. Told him that was not true. He then tried to blame the theft on me. I came back to New Mexico in late December to find that my house had been broken into again. This time they took everything. Made a second police report. And, claim with the insurance. My adjuster said he would stop by to inspect it. He couldn't even find my house. "he got lost" Then i was told i would recieve a call in a day or two. That never happened. After numerous call to the insurance. And, three weeks later. I was told by an operator that my case had been settled. And, that an e-mail had been sent. They sent me a check for 2223.34. And the damage and stolen item are well over 40,000.00."get your own insurance, don't the the mortgage company do it"
