Bank of America has become the scum of the earth in my eyes. I will begin to actively make public the number of ways you have aided to drain an elderly couple of all their money and possessions.
First, my elderly parents own a house at the shore. They were sitting on their front porch minding their own business when a shyster stopped by off the street and talked them into a reverse mortgage.
Second and most unbelievable, yesterday someone called pretending to be their granddaughter and talked them into wiring 10 thousand dollars for"bail" money. Your bank helped them to do that. I can not believe you did not warn them that this may be unwise!!! You don't have any training that tells someone when you see an 91 year old come into the bank to wire a large amount of money to a random bank across the country to counsel them to beware of a scam!!! Then when we discovered what they had done and we called to try to stop the transfer we were rudely and coldly told by your "help" line we would have to wait until Tuesday when the bank was open to even try to talk to someone to help them, except customer service which she offered to transfer me to at which time I received a message that the wrong number had been dialed and then hung up-Great service you have!!! Unbelievable!!! I will begin a campaign to get the word out to beware of heartless Bank of America-I'm sure it will not bother you at all-People already hate banks but I know of at least 30 people in this family that will begin transferring their business to another bank.
