They called informing me that i had been approved for a credit card application that i supposedly applied for with a limit of 2000. All i had to do was agree to a 249.00 debit from my checking account and i would receive my card in 15-25 days. I asked them if it was a prepay card and they assured me it wasn't, and that if i agreed to the amount of 249.00 to be taken out then we could reimburse ourselves by taking the card to the atm and getting cash out to put back into our account.
At the end of the 25 days, i received a ups box with credit repair information as well as alot junk mail flyers. There was also a letter stating that once i filled out the enclosed credit card application and send in additional money i would then receive a prepay credit card in the mail 25 days later.
I immediately called the customer service line. For the first hour i got nothing but a busy signal. When it finally started ringing i was placed on hold. No one ever answered! I even waited as long as 2 hours before the phone disconnected.
