I have been a LONG time customer of groupon and have witnessed their success and am now watching as their stocks are significantly dropping, which is not a surprise. For one, their customer service is very poor, people are RUDE, unhelpful, and resist having you talk to a supervisor. This has been my experience multiple times. Additionally, the goods are NEVER delivered within the window promised. When you call them on a super late delivery (where its been weeks and product is not received), they all have the same line, "the vendor was overwhelmed." Really? Is it really a surprise that groupon gets high volume? Come on. Stop blaming others and take responsibility. I dont mind waiting 2 months for products but I can't stand a RUDE customer service rep. Some people who have been rude are Ally and Steve. If you get them, hang up and call back. It's a waste of time. Groupon should have some standards of dealing with customers, but talking to these people as early as 7am, you would think they have been having a terrible day when their day has literally begun. I have been much happier with delivery and service fromKGB deals. It's definitely worth trying.
