Purebred Breeders has been investigated by the United States Human Society and a lawsuit has been filed against them in November for selling puppy mill dogs and deceptive marketing practices.

I purchased a Pomeranian puppy from Purbreed Breeders after reviewing the claims made on their website concerning the good health of the puppies they sell and the reputable, responsible nature of the breeders they associate with. Within a year of purchase the puppy was diagnosed with bilateral luxating patellas, (bad knees) which will cost over $2,200 to correct surgically. This condition is common in dogs raised in puppy mills where little attention is paid to the passing on of genetic conditions, with the focus being only on producing more puppies to increase the bottom line.
