I am a breeder or Labrador Retriever puppies and have sold several pups on this site. All of my adult dogs, I have one male and three females, have been OFA tested for hips and elbows and are either GOOD or EXCELLENT on hips and their elbows are normal and clear. I also have all of my adult dogs EIC cleared, all are negative, and they are all tested for CDM, PRA, Thyroid, and Cardiac problems before they have ever been bred. My adult dogs also come from some of the top show dogs not only in the US but in the world. All of my pups are wormed at 3,5, and 7 weeks of age and have their first set of puppy vaccinations before they ever leave my home.in my 20 years of breeding I have honestly never had one single dog ever come back for any genetic problem.
This site is a good site because it reaches way more people than I ever could. I had never advertised my pups before and have still to this day never made a web site for them so I think without a doubt who ever gets one of my pups is getting the best quality, both genetic and breed standard, pups that are out there and most of the time for a lot less them what some of these show breeders are charging for their pups just because they have the money, time, and other resources to prop up their names and lines.
It is unfortunate if some have had bad experiences with this site and some of the non-caring breeders that are out there and only in it to make a quick buck. I say to anyone wanting to buy a pup from anyone online please, please do your homework, check with AKC, and ask and talk to as many references as you can.
