Misrepresentation of offers between ATT&T and Directtv

I switched from AT&T to directtv 10 days ago. First, I get an installer that disconnects my internet and telephone service and can't put it back together. I had to call AT&T myself to get the service reconnected! Then the installer informs me that I wasn't supposed to get a DVR with the installation. What's up with that?! Whether cable or satellite everyone offers a DVR. After much ado, he finally went back to the truck and brought me this idiotic DVR that only records in one room and only 2 shows at a time. Now i come to find out that if i do record 2 shows, i have to tune the tv to one of the channels in order for it to record-ARE YOU PEOPLE STILL IN THE EARLY 2000'S OVER THERE? If i had known that I was going to have all of this trouble just to switch over from one to another, I would have stayed with AT&T - this is ridiculous - Then you literally have the nerve to charge $96.45 up front for the extra receiver - What is wrong with you people? I'm writing AT&T (who probably has some kind of money making deal with you since they pitched the switch) and letting them have a piece of my mind also. God, I do wish that another satelllite or cable company would enter Illinois, They might get you people to understand that you can't treat people the way that you do, and keep getting away with it!
