I purchased a magic jack in December with the plan to port my home phone number to it when porting was promised in 2009. Unfortunately Magic Jack has dragged their feet on development of the number porting and I am still waiting. It is too bad for them because the technology works fine and I am sure that they would sell many many more units when number porting is available. I am at the point where I am not going to renew anymore because of their lack of progress.
