Biggest scam on earth and I'm shocked they're able to get away with it.
1) I was told when signing up it would cost me one thing... Asked several times to confirm then I was not only charges almost $30 more than what I was quoted, but was told it was going to cost an extra $100 to get a DVR box.
2) I was told on the phone that if I bundled ATT internet I'd get a $10 discount on my Direct TV bill. Found out that was an absolute lie.
3) I was told on the phone I would get a $100 gift card for signing up. It's been 6 weeks and I've gotten NADA.
Customer service is a joke. They absolutely will not honor what they tell you on the phone. My experience is that it is nothing more than bait and switch. They tell you one thing to get you to sign up, then charge you something else when you're locked in.
