We purchase the Hayward automatic pool cleaner which was advertised to clean my entire pool, but it was defective, and Leslie's pools would not refund me, or make it right. Leslie's and Hayward pool cleaner has false advertising to say that the automatic cleaner cleans to entire pool, as the pool cleaner just cleaned in a straight line and then went to the deep end of the pool and just sat there, not even moving. When i went back to the store two months later to get a refund, they stated they only have a two week refund policy! We had not used the pool cleaner for several weeks after we purchased it, as it was rainy weather, and we were gone a lot, so by the time we used it (only about 3 to 4 times,) the two week refund policy was up. Why don't they have a descent policy of 3 months like repurable business have? Perhaps because they sell defective merchandise! They falsely advertised this product to clean the entire pool, and it never did! It is still new, and sitting in the box, and we're out 259.00! Leslie's wouldnt even return it to the manufacturer even though it is under warranty, and Leslie's could get their money back! Deceptive policy of selling bad merchandise, and hurting their customers!
