The sad part is... That Optima Cigs present a good product but the company is spoiling its future by making unauthorized charges to customers credit/debit cards. I was charged $116.93 for an order that I never submitted or approved. When I called and first spoke with "Nicki" (who hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor) and then with "Don Thompson" who apparently was no stranger to these complaints... When informed that I did not make the purchase, Nicki attempted to convince me that when I ordered their "trial package" for $5.00 I had checked a box authorizing them to ship orders to me without prior approval. I told her specifically that I read all the fine print on their order and that I made sure that I did not sign up for any future purchases. She then told me that they would refund my money after the product had been returned to Optima Cigs - AT MY EXPENSE!!!??? Here is a company that reached into my debit card and stole my money and they want to charge me for the privilege of getting my money back and I have to wait two or three weeks for the refund???!!! FIND ANOTHER MANUFACTURER/SOURCE FOR ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES. Do not buy from optima. If you give them your credit card number, you are at risk. P.S. - On 09 April I contacted the Wood Dale IL Police Department to file a criminal complaint for Fraud, Theft, and taking advantage of a Senior Citizen (I'm 71) and I was advised that they viewed this as a "Civil Matter". I was advised to contact the IL Attorney General to file a complaint. That is my next step, along with the Better Business Bureau and the FBI Internet Crime division. Once more - do not buy from optima cigs - you have no protection under the law - they can do whatever they want with impunity!
