I mistakenly fell for a promo ad at the end of my activity at Amazon.com. It was choose one of four pieces of jewelery for a one time offer for $5.99 free shipping. I thought it would be a nice stocking stuffer. True, I did not read the fine print and after 14 days I was charged an additional $98.00. The first charge was a trial charge for the piece.By the time I noticed the second deduction from my account, 14 days had elapsed. When I called Kate Winston Co., I was informed there absolutely no refunds or returns, we can't help you. Also, in the fine print they say you will receive a shipment of jewelery every month and be charged $49.00 w / no 14 day grace period.
The biggest pain is that I was in Walmart today and saw the exact same piece for $5.00.
And I thought I knew better.
