I called Allstate Roadside Assistance. They sent someone out to jump my car. The man left his jumper cables on my car for no more than 30 seconds. He was gone in less than a minute and gave me no instructions.
I let the car run for a period of time. Then I did not want to let it keep running, because someone had broken into my car and left the glove compartment open, and this is why the battery had run down. I had to go back into my house for my purse, and the car would not start up again.
Allstate said it would be another full-price fee to have the man come back out. There was no service from this company. I spoke to the manager and got nowhere.
