I joined Allstate in 2009 after being treated terribly by Progressive Insurance. I was assured at that time by my agent, Labrina McDonald, that they (Progressive) were overcharging me and not providing adequate coverage. I was further assured I would be in good hands now.
I have been with this company for 2 years with no accidents, no claims, and no violations, moving or other. My premiums have increased 100.00 per month during that period. The best impersonal answer I received was that it was based on the region in which I live. The region? I did not move from the time I signed up, so what region could it be? My insurance agent would never put anything (a reason) on paper, even when requested to do so. She is no longer with Allstate, has started her own agency, and must have taken her old client database with her, as she is now soliciting me from her new business.
Good hands? Don't believe the hype. 2400.00 a year for an '08 Civic. Yes, 2400.00 a year for an '08 Civic. I have already paid for the car with my premiums.
