This is the biggest fraud in the history of mankind. This bank charged me an extended fee of 36 dollars times 5, after I opted out of overdraft protection and opted for my account to be declined if I do not have money in it. That means if I do not have money in my account and I try to purchase something, the card would decline. I was deceived that this option had been applied to my account, only for me to get paid and have 140 dollars taken out of my account.
First, when I called, the lady who picked up was so rude. She was questioning me, would not let me explain my case and kept talking over me. This is the only bank where you get charged a 36 dollar fee for 25 cents. The funny thing is that they charge these fees and they do not pay for the supposed item. Shame on you after all these years with you, to treat me this way. These goats would not even offer to refund me part of those fees.
Bank of America would not only pay for the items, but you have days to put money into your account. My account was really negative since I worked for Lenovo and used the account as my direct deposit account. When I went to the bank, at no time did anyone say, "Well, I am sorry, sir, but do you mind if we charge you only for one of the fees and give you a refund?"
Guys, ladies, mothers, fathers, if you are looking for a good bank, go to Fifth Third Bank or Bank of America or a credit union or even Capital One. Do not go to this bank. They are thieves. After 4 to 5 pm you cannot get anyone on the phone. Shame on these guys. I closed my account two days ago and went to Fifth Third Bank. Shameless.
