Over-limit fees from disputed charges harmed credit

I was a victim of fraudulently being charged over limit fees that were generated by past due and fraudulent charges that were being disputed on my statements for over two years. I paid over the limit charges of over $100.00 in one year and past due of over $75.00 in addition to 25.9% interest rate. I was reported to the credit bureau and had my credit harmed because when I paid it off and closed the account I refused to pay the past over the limit fee and it grew to over $400.00.
