I was out to dinner when I received a text message from the number 1 (315) 288 0628. The text said, "Citibank Alert: You have one alert regarding your Citibank account. Please click the link bellow to read it: http://online. Citibank.com.Us. Apo-signin.com".
If you click the link, it brings you to a website very similar to the Citibank log-on website, except that after it asks for your user ID and password, it also asks for your CCV code.
I decided to check my account from my computer when I got home. I had no alerts or messages of any kind. Also, the text misspelled "below" with two L's, the phone number that sent it goes straight to a voicemail saying it is not available, and if you try to type the website into your computer's search bar, it comes up as not a website.
If anyone else received this text, I hope they did not provide their information, as I am pretty sure this is some type of scam. I hope I saved someone.
