I canceled our service after a year. I mailed them back their receiver and got confirmation that my bill was at $0. The next month I received a bill from them stating I owed them $100 for an early termination fee. They said I had agreed to keep the service for 2 years, not 1. I did not want to keep their lousy service for another year and never agreed to 2 years. They now have a collection agency after me, trying to collect the $100 fee I refuse to pay.
