I have full coverage Allstate homeowners insurance. But when black mold from a leak under my bathtub and behind a wall was discovered because it was leaking down into the condo below mine, ruining their carpet and walls, I was told by my Allstate agent that leaks are not covered unless discovered immediately.
How are leaks supposed to be discovered immediately if they are behind walls? This is a clear loophole for big insurance companies to avoid paying up when the policyholder needs repairs. Allstate is a clear rip-off!
I should not be living in my home until the mold has been removed and repairs completed, yet I do not have sufficient funds to make the repairs, so this US vet is going to be homeless and possibly even lose my house. I just want Allstate to have the black mold removed and the required repairs completed so I can live safely in my home.
