I have been a TWC customer for over 6 years, pay my bill direct debit so never a late payment. Last month I received notification that my bill is increasing $13 a month. I call customer service, there is nothing they can do for me. Oh wait if I get rid of my DVR capability they can get the bill so its only $8 a month more. Now why would I pay MORE for LESS? The service rep ALEX begins to argue with me. I tell him either get me the same package at the same rate or I will go to Direct TV. He then begins to bash Direct TV, then I explain that we have Direct TV at our other house, since 2001 and have NEVER had a price increase or customer service complaint. As a matter of fact Direct TV calls occassionally to make sure we are happy with our service. So bottom line I tell ALEX to terminate my service effective 2/28. So for $156 a year TWC lost a valued customer (or so I thought) that they never had to hunt down to collect payment.
