Bought a dishworld IPTV subscription last year with the understanding that I can cancel and re-activate my account at any time
Come this year, I found out that the receiver I have has been replaced with a new model and that the one I have is uselss. Called Dishworld to get a replacement sent out but the response was that I have to pay for a new ROKU receiver.
Last year I paid $100 for the old receiver and they wouldn't replace it for free or even refund my $100 I paid for the useless receiver I have
Business rule: when you decide to change technology that affects the user in any way, it's the business responsibility to replace the old technology or at least refund for old useless technology
Dishworld IPTV is an example of a company that wants to make money off people by forcing people to purchase a technology they forced on its users.
