Bogus service commitment

Although talking to AT&T U Verse Television sellers, they provided me a discount on my DirecTV support to be an AT&T Wireless client. After being informed that there is no support dedication, I approved the present. (take note that it creates no feeling for an AT&T Uverse salesman to provide me a pack with DirecTV which includes a service dedication, because the Uverse salesmanis objective would be to substitute my DirecTV service together with his Uverse support). Many weeks later, I obtained a notice from DirecTV declaring that I'd decided to a-12 month support dedication by taking this present. I quickly called DirecTV, worked through three degrees of call-center administration and was regularly educated that I'd decided to a-12 month service dedication and might get a 240 buck termination charge basically desired to stop my support.

Obviously the main of the issue was AT&Tis salesman or his instruction. I'll be calling U Verse tomorrow to try to ask them to correct this problem. But though AT&T started it, it's completely in DirecTVis capacity to proper: they merely must take away the "dedication" from my consideration and renounce the termination charge (I've not been charged since this started, and so I have not actually preserved anything using the reduced bundle). Their reps stubbornly declined to actually acknowledge they had that energy, and exhibited what I'd think about the reverse of customer support using their regular stonewalling and insufficient any need to correct the problem.
