I am writing to complain about the direct/tv sales practice of fraudulently baiting and switching after a verbal contract with my daughter. They agreed to install cable tv for ONE year, yet when she declined an opportunity to work a shift to wait for cable installation, the installer (pleasant, not his fault) informed her the deal was for TWO years. She immediately called 'Customer Service' and was told-"take it or leave it." She caved and went along, but was really upset at being taken advantage of finacially. I have tried to ask them to stick to the original agreement-but was informed that she can cancel-at a cost. They should be ashamed of themselves, especially after seeing the long list of others who have been treated badly! How has the attorney general, or Better Business Bureau not shut these people down? Fcc? Are you out there? This is shameful treatment. Carol Sylvia
