Charter is the slimiest cable company I know of! We ended our bundle service more than 2 months ago, and today, we get a statement saying we owe them nearly $800! Most of that is in the form of services for the last 2 months (which we didn't have or want), late payment fees, etc. Their customer service reps are completely unable to help... We'll be talking to the BBB and lawyer very soon!
