I signed up for the Verizon FIOS bundle in November. At that time I was promised a free TV. After numerous calls to their customer service department I received the TV about a year later. I also asked if I would like to refer a friend. I was told that I would receive a credit of $100 as well as the friend I referred if they subscribed to the service. They were contacted by the sales person and signed up also. I have made numerous phone calls to Verizon Customer Service department only to be told something different everytime. It seems that nobody in the company is on the same page. After my last call today I was told that all of the refer a friends had been declined and that I should go to a web site to dispute the turndown. All of the conditions of the program have been met and verified. I know that I will never receive this credit from them. When my contract is up in November of this year I will be cancelling my accout and go with the cable company.

I see that they are now advertising $150 for signing up for their services and $150 for referring a friend. Please don't believe that you will receive anything from them, as I did.
They make promises to entice you and then back down on them. This is very misleading to the consumer.
