Don't subscribe to direct tv!!! They suck; their trade practices are misleading; they lie and mislead the client along with the customer is never correct. And that I did anything a wise customer must do just before becoming a member of their support, and that I still got attached.

After I first named Direct TV, I requested numerous concerns and required detailed records. I'd previously exposed and preserved a term doc with concerns and entered anything in to the term doc while I had been about the telephone using their customer support technology.

1) I had been informed that I really could get a reduced regular price easily registered for car bill pay of course if I listed my consideration and current email address when I obtained my first statement. I follow all of the actions required and frequently get emails from Direct TV, however they deal used to do not put up my mail account and certainly will not provide me the extra $5 discount.

2) I was never advised that i can't purchase payperview films in the handheld remote control until I've a land-line connected towards the recipient. They're acutely conscious I don't possess a land-line since once the customer support representative requested for my house phone, I told him used to donot have one which the phone I take advantage of for my main quantity is my cell phone.

3) I had been informed I'd obtain the DVR device for one more $5.99 monthly. However the repetition never revealed I'd even be billed one more fee for DVR support along with the DVR device charge. They insisted I had been informed after I registered for support that there might even be a DVR service charge. Considering I Have never had a DVR, how might i understand how the darn thing works?

4) After I terminated the DVR radio, I had been informed I'd be obtaining a container within the email to come back the DVR within 10-14 business days. I acquired the container almost 2 months later. When used to donot instantly return the DVR device for them within the container, they charged me $200!!! They'd not manage me exactly the same schedule to come back the darn thing because it got them to deliver me the container. Or could they alter the $200 off my bill.

5) After I named to stop support, I had been informed I'd a 24-month agreement together. I MOST DEFINITELY DIDN'T! Our records clearly express I decided to a-12 month phrase but since I have have nothing written down from their store, I'm destined to these assholes for two years.

In the event you actually have a problem and phone customer support, they'll do-nothing to fix their errors and do-nothing but move the dollar. The client is never right so far as they're worried. Please save lots of cash, time and aggrevation and opt for anyone besides direct tv. I'd wire with Comcast for all, many decades and not had a problem with them and desire I'd remained together. So when this Strong TV agreement lastly does end, I'll be returning to Comcast.
