I had a tech out to connect the digital converters. The tech looked me in the eye and said my I would still be able to record and watch tapes on my VCR. He lied to my face. Not only does the VCR not record OR play anything. The tv only gets a blue screen. The tv doesn't even work. Their techs are morons. I called tech support and was told there was nothing they could do. Seriously.
