After I cancelled my services, I contacted DirecTV to request removal of their dish from my property. Recommendation, call local technician. Due to being mislead by the installer/technician during install, I understood they would remove the dish at termination of service.instead of assisting me constructively, the Minot, ND local technician berated me, rudely stated the dish removal was NOT their problem! He further made it a point to tell me that " it was no cost profit for them to remove their dish and the dish make good bird baths, he could care less what I did with it as the dish is considered mine". He then hung up on me! Obviously, if you are not generating revenue for DirecTV they have subpar customer service. What DirecTV failed to realize is that any chance of returning or promoting their business with the military base community is zero to No way!
