After moving across country from San Diego, CA to Beaufort, SC we discovered our communications choices were not only limited, but we were also dealing with unfamiliar company names. We are very accustomed to cable company bundle packages and preferred that option rather than dividing our home services between satellite and internet service providers. Sadly, this was a huge mistake. Everything we had taken for granted as simply part of cable service is not what Hargray offers. The cable guide menu is not intuitive, the On Demand menu is atrocious, and the picture on the lower (non-hi-def) channels is grainy. We've had nothing but frustration every time we sit down to watch TV. To add insult to injury, we called customer service less than a month after having service installed to inquire about canceling our TV subscription (we would keep phone and internet, so they would not be losing our entire service contract), and they told us there would be a $250 early termination fee. No Grace Period at all. This is clearly a company that does not stand by their product. And, with the subpar product they offer, perhaps it's no wonder.
