I too have been scammed by capitol vacation or suntasia what ever their name is. I was contacted by phone and told i had been selected by capitol one credit card co and since i was a good customer i would be eligible for two airline tickets for $400.00 to anywhere i wanted to go.
I was told i would receive the travel pkg in 7 days and would have 7 days after receiving the info to cancel. This was oct 2nd. I was told my checking acct would be drafted 7 days after receiving the material for a one time fee of $149.00. My checking acct was debited on oct. 6. I did not even receive the first letter from them, travel agency network until oct 9th. Which was a saturaday, i called monday and cancelled (recorder) voice told me i was receove credit within 7 days. It is now oct 28 and no credit has been issued. I sent them a letter yesterday requesting a refund.
I know it was stupid to give them my acct number, buut need help in getting my money back. These scam artist neeed to be stopped.
