I booked a room with this hotel on allhotels.com according to the pictures. It looked nice and the price was good. I made reservations for 2 nights. My sister-in-law made reservations for one night. Needless to say the pictures were not of the hotel we stayed at, only 2 of them were actually of the hotel. The outside and the lobby.
Our son was graduating from bootcamp at Fort Leonard Wood, along with 400 other people. There were no other openings at other hotels by the time we got there.
The rooms were filthy, there were 2 cigarette butts on the floor under the corner of the bed along with a empty can. The box springs were stained yellow it looked like urine.
There was dirt and mold in the A/C vent. There were cobwebs hanging down the wall, there were rolls of dust and dirt. There were holes in the walls, writing and drawing on the walls.
The smell in my sister-in-laws room was horrid, we bought candles and air freshener but nothing worked. We told them at the desk that the rooms were dirty they wrote down the room numbers and that was the end of it.
We checked out as soon as another hotel had an opening. I did take pictures and have reported this hotel to the BBB and the Health Department. I sent a email to the corp. Office and was told that this place was privatly owned and franchised that they would forward my complaint to the owner and I should hear from him within 7 days. That was the end of Aug. This is the middle of Sept. And nothing.
