If you receive a postcard from a travel company with an offer of a free anything... Rip it up or be ripped off.
Packaged Vacations seemed legit... We are not people who have ever been sucked in before... But we are now out almost $3000. The vacations they offer are no better than those available through legit companies. The company charges an annual fee (even the first year. Even though you have just paid them a chunk, a fee appears on your credit card). The company has changed "service providers." Their website is now unavailable, and they don't return phone calls. The company that collects the annual fee will not stop without authorization from Packaged Vacations... Which apparently no longer exists. So we have to stop through the credit card company.
Such a headache for being stupidly impulsive. Never again!
