We searched for parking companies at Gatwick Airport on line some months back and found Gatwick Valet Parking. I made a booking and they telephoned and claimed my card would not go through. My husband then gave his card details. The company sent a confirmation and said they would ring us an hour before our ETA. When this didn't happen, we tried ringing them but go no reply. We also e mailed - again, no reply. On arrival at Gatwick nobody knew anything about this company and eventually at the information desk we were told they are a bogus company who do not really exist and that there had been many passengers ripped off. Not only did we then have to pay a fortune to leave our car in the main long term car park on top of losing our money but we also had to cancel our credit cards as I suspected the scammers might try to use the details while we were away. This ruined our holiday and has left us 200 worse off.
