I booked a room at Four Points Sheraton in San Jose, CA for five nights. During our stay I learned that my son had been in a skiing accident and was in hospital in Portland, OR. We decided to return home to Portland but were not able to get a refund for the last two nights. The hotel blamed roomstays.com, roomstays blamed the hotel. When I booked the room I thought I was doing it from the hotel's website until the reservation documentation printed. Definite case of fraud. I'm crossing roomstays and expedia (who they really are) and Sheraton off my list permanently.
