Me and my wife left around 6:00 o'clock in afternoon and went 3 hrs from vancouver, california to seattle with 2 children to invest the weekend.
We booked and paid $70.00 to get a dual king, non-smoking room @ skyway inn hotel thru orbitz.com
upon arrival they didn't have the area that people prepaid for
Following a hour of reasons using the supervisor, he created the deceiving concept of separating people into two areas.
We decide to accept and then learn that we were in two recently "check out" and incredibly dirty and 'smoking' areas.
We called orbitz customer support and they spent additional time listen to the hotel manager and take his side of the occasions...
I don't know why, but i invested half an hour detailing they "orbitz.com" and also the hotel aren't providing the services which were prepaid for...
Finally convinced that we were annoyed, among consumer no-support representative explained to cover a fresh space thru their reservation system and dispute the 'issue one' later...
Ok... I'd no choice and that i after another hour waiting (today it's 11:00 o'clock at night) went along simply to learn he (client no-support) is placing us up another room having a kingsize bed having a $200 cost... I inquire about 2 bedrooms and he couldn't develop anything
Nicely... Well... It is 11:30 @ night and choose to drive home...
Last monday... 07/27/04 i named their customer support and after another hour about the phone they explained that they can fill a problem and should take about 10 business days to get a reaction
The interesting thing said by this additional consumer no service is that generally they don't issue discounts
i tried to call the organization office, however the call was re routed for the old 'client do not worry about you' support
Our lost is the gain... Don't work with these folks!
