On March 3 I signed a contract with Hidden Valley Rentals / DCZip Enterprises / Ronald Zorn, Jr. To rent a ski in ski out vacation home for my family in Hidden Valley Ski Resort. Placed a $1200 down payment when the contract was signed. Last week I received a phone call from Ron Zorn, Jr. To let me know that the house sold but he had two options for me. One was not a ski in ski out home and the other one he was offering to me at a higher price.
Here it is October and I can not find an acceptable home to rent.
If I would not have fullfilled my contract duties they would have kept my $1200 but they think they can just cancel and have no recourse.
In my opinion this company is a scam.
My advice... Do not rent from this company.
I have forward this contract to my attorney and he will be handling this matter from here out.
