Expedia's Sub Contractor Unreliable & Failure to Refund Cancun

Best Day Travel delivered us to the wrong Ferry port for our trip to our hotel on Isla Mujeres. We had to then pay for a ferry ride and a taxi when we had already paid Best Day Travel to deliver us to the ferry used by our Hotel. Best Day then could not arrange travel for us to Chichen Itza and refused to give us a refund, telling us to pursue it through Expedia.

They then gave us the wrong directions to the Sky Ride, and after telling us to report to a particular hotel for pick up, we discovered that the Sky Ride was behind said hotel, less than a block's walk down the beach! We'd spent two hours waiting for Best Day to pick us up, after arriving via the hotel's boat and paying for a taxi to the location that they specified. So, what did we get for the two trips and the round-trip transportation for which we paid?

The only service which Best Day provided was transportation from the Ferry to the airport at the end of our trip. What a waste of money. Expedia has wasted three hours of our time in phone calls and emails, with no response of any kind. We did business in good faith with Expedia. But Expedia does not exercise sufficient care in its choice of sub-contractors. We would not have chosen Best Day as our airport ground transportation company nor as our transportation/ticket resource for activities if Expedia had not included them on their site with options for travel.

We were wrong to continue to expect to be able to do business in good faith with Expedia. Their customer service is non-existent. Our experience at the airport, where we dealt with no seat on the plane, when we'd bought our trip in May for this December vacation, along with the very unhelpful employees at Expedia with whom I had to insist on service in order to get any help, along with all of the other problems before, during, and after the trip all culminates to one big bad experience via Expedia and its Best Day co-conspirators in horrid service.
